The Rolex Datejust was first included in the Rolex collection in 1945 to celebrate Rolex's 40th anniversary. In doing so, the Rolex Datejust was the first automatic self-winding wristwatch that could simultaneously read the Date at the 3 o'clock position of the dial, while the date would automatically skip to the next day at midnight. We all know the Rolex Datejust with the famous and beloved Jubilee bracelet, which of course owes its name to Rolex's 40th anniversary when this model was released. Now, we have talked about the 36-mm model, but however, the women's model had to wait a while. The first female model of the Rolex Datejust first appeared on the market in 1957 and has remained in Rolex's collection ever since, however, the 26 mm model is no longer in production.
