Rolex released the first Oysterdate Precision in 1959, this watch is an icon when you think of Rolex. Production of the 6694 runs from the late 1950s to 1987. The movement of the 6694 involves a hand-winding movement which gives this watch a lot of character. In my opinion, the 6694 is a very charming watch with a lot of character and also definitely underrated. As mentioned, this watch dates from 1972 and has serial number 3xxxxxx. This precision 6694 features a 1225 hand-winding movement, plexiglass and has a silvery dial with the original tritium hour markers and hands. The Rolex 6694 comes in stainless steel, with the beautifully folded oyster bracelet, which makes this 1970s watch beatable. The End link on the 6 o'clock side is a little loose, which is not crazy for a 1970s watch. The watch is in very good condition and has had maintenance if needed.
